Fortis Data Centre

In 2012 we designed and built a high-specification industrial building with a footprint of 60,000 sq. ft. over two storeys with a view to it being fitted out as a data centre.

To accommodate the build, the nearby Kennel Burn had to be diverted and the ground lime stabilised. The unit was constructed of piled foundations with a steel frame structure, concrete floors and blockwork walls. The building is finished in an aluminium cladding to a fire rating class A2 and is serviced by yard space at both ends of the development, as well as car parking.
